accessibility
The work stays open.

We build visual tools, but the store should not require a particular way of seeing, hearing, moving, or reading. This statement explains our current accessibility target, what we are doing, and how to get a direct human alternative when something gets in the way.
Our commitment
Faceworld Video wants editors, artists, and customers with disabilities to be able to browse the site, understand our products, complete a purchase, download files, and contact us without unnecessary barriers. Accessibility is part of how we design and maintain the site, not a finished one-time task.
Our standard and current status
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target. The site is reviewed through ongoing self-evaluation and automated checks, but it has not yet received an independent full conformance audit. We therefore do not claim that every page fully conforms today.
Measures we take
- Use semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and meaningful control names.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences for nonessential animation.
- Maintain readable contrast for commercial copy, forms, and controls.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative graphics from assistive technology.
- Test responsive layouts at high zoom and on small screens.
- Include accessibility checks in design and release review.
Compatibility
The site is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies. JavaScript is required for the cart, checkout handoff, private beta forms, and privacy controls. Core product and policy information remains readable without using a mouse.
Known limitations and alternatives
Some product demonstrations use dense motion, visual effects, or silent video to show an aesthetic result. We are continuing to review older media and complex demonstrations for complete text alternatives. If a demo does not give you the information you need, email us and we will provide a written description or another reasonable format.
Checkout is provided by Shopify, and downloads or community links may open services such as Dropbox or Discord. Those services control their own accessibility. If a third-party step blocks you, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way where reasonably possible.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need product information in another format, or need help completing a purchase, email josh@faceworldstudios.com. Include the page or task, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within two business days and will tell you what we can do or what information we still need.
Assessment approach
This statement is based on self-evaluation of the Faceworld storefront, its reusable components, keyboard behavior, responsive layouts, and automated accessibility checks. We will update this statement when the site, our testing, or known limitations materially change.
