Essential storage

The storefront uses a session cookie to connect your browser to the Shopify cart you create. Blocking it can prevent items from staying in your cart or reaching checkout.

The private beta stores the name and email you entered on your own device so its feedback form can be prefilled. That record is not used for advertising and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.

A first-party cookie stores your first-visit campaign tags, landing page and referrer for up to 90 days. We add those values to Shopify cart attributes so the resulting order records its source.

Anonymous site and performance measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page views, referrers, broad location, browser, device, and operating system in aggregate. Vercel says this service does not use cookies or retain an identifier that follows a visitor across days or websites.

Vercel Speed Insights receives real-world performance measurements such as page-loading and interaction timing. We use those measurements to find slow or unstable pages, not to build advertising profiles.

Meta advertising cookies and your choice

In the United States, Canada and Australia, Meta Pixel loads by default unless you opt out or send Global Privacy Control. In the EU, UK and all other regions, it waits for your consent. An unknown location also requires consent. The pixel measures page views, product views, cart additions and successful signups. Meta may set _fbp and _fbc cookies, generally lasting up to three months, to associate browsing and ad interactions.

Declining does not prevent browsing, buying or requesting a download. We store your choice in local storage as faceworld-advertising-consent-v1 until you change it or clear site data. Global Privacy Control blocks storefront advertising tracking even if you previously allowed it. Use the controls on this page to change your choice. The Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information footer link brings you here. Shopify checkout has separate customer privacy controls and handles checkout and purchase events.

Third-party destinations

Checkout, downloads, and community links may open Shopify, Dropbox, Discord, or another external service. Once you leave faceworld.video, that service's own storage and privacy rules apply.
